Liquid's Green Chemistry

Working with York University and Boots the Chemists, Liquid have produced an in-depth interactive application aimed at school kids, demonstrating the importance of environmental awareness for chemists.

Hosted by the animated character, Fabs the Frog, the interface teaches the basics of the different stages of the lifecycle of many of the products we can all find in our bathrooms at home. There are a whole host of drag-and-drop activities, quizzes and a chance to 'Design The Bubble bath of the Future' with points awarded to those making the most ecological choices along the way.

The two interactive units, provided by our group partner, Retec Interface, have already been used at the recent York Festival of Science and Technology and will soon be on their way to the Glasgow Science Centre.
