Reuters Launch on Cabvision

Thomson Reuters have launched a news channel on Cabvision, featuring up-to-the-minute text and image news feeds.

The news is delivered to the 1,000 cabs 24 hours a day via our proprietary DAB and GPRS delivery systems, and Liquid have produced a full software-based channel which sits within the Cabvision shell. Server-side applications use Reuter's Spotlight API to gather the latest news-feeds and images.

Passengers can select the channel, sit back and catch up recent events whilst they enjoy their cab journey through London.

News genres include: Top News, Entertainment, Sports, Business, Oddly Enough.
